DID YOU KNOW??

A property that forms part of a deceased estate may be exempt from a council tax charge from the date of death until probate or Letters of Administration have been granted. Once probate has been granted a further six months exemption may be awarded, after which providing that the property is still unoccupied a 50% charge becomes due.
